I am a young prepper from Norway, i started prepping about a year ago. Since Im as young as I am (16) Its quite a challange to be a prepper, with basicly no income and that i use most of my day on Schoolwork and working out. I keep my prepps pretty basic untill i move to a town next cemester where i might gett a parttime job and have acces to more stores and such. I currently live in the same farm that ive been raised in, we currently only have four horses and a couple of big potatoe fields, but we have had, pigs, chickens, cows, sheep and more. I started shooting when i were seven years old, i used to be the state champion in my age group but i quit the competition shooting two years ago. I trained TaeKwonDo and Judo from when i were 10 to 15. I have been a member of HeimVernsUngdommen, or short HVU. Its a branch of the millitary that prepares voluntering youth for the obligatory millitary service later in our lives, we gett the same training in comunication equipment, everything from morsecodes to fieldradios, ER, survival, shooting, but we are not a part of the mobilisation forces and were not trained for combat so we wont crash with the UN directives. Right now i bett many of you mught be thinking "Oh, hes just another kid with the millitary on his mind 24/7" but im not, I play Bass in a band, I want to become ån educated cheff. I love using my mind to make things, i love reading ånd i love helping people whenever i can!
I hope that we fellow preppers are going enjoy the talks we might have here and i wish you all a good christmas! :)

Really nice to have you here.......
Young folks with their thinking caps on.....
hands in their pockets and not holding them
out to others, palm up.......
It is inspiring these days to read a 'greet' post with
such a positive aura. [especially from someone 16yrs old]
Kudos, Dude...I hope to see plenty of you on this forum.

I can't remember the area now......[in Norway]
I grew up with a boy named Sverre Bjerketvedt.....
he was my closest friend for years....
He came to the US when he was 2yrs old
His father was the finest cabinetmaker I have ever seen,
even to this day.
Just seeing your greetings brought back many memories....
from a very long time ago.

Welcome HVU. In the youth training in the military and want to be a chef are good skill learning sets. Playing bass is always good. As a guitarist playing for a long time, starting a little younger than you now, the world needs bass players.

Alright Alex, well I am sorry to hear that there are not that many preppers in Norway. Maybe you will start a revolution and all that will change.

Good night to you

Welcome from Florida, Alex. As we say here in America "you have your head on straight."
I look forward to hearing about your country.
