Hi all. Got the idea to join from a banner over at snipercentral. Just wanted to say a quick hello........I'm actually not a prepper yet. It's been on my mind a long time though. Hope you are all doing well.

Welcome aboard from SC! Folks that say they aren't "preppers" just don't realize it yet... Do you keep spare batteries, an extra box of cereal, maybe an extra bar of soap or two (or 36)... EVERYONE preps, everyone keeps something for "just in case"... some just more so than others... :)Hang around a bit, you will find yourself prepping for more situations without realizing it. The fact that you are here says volumes. Welcome again.

Welcome from Colorado. My best prep so far is to NOT live in LA. :) Sorry Fumbles and shotlady... I just had to say it.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

I do prep in a very small way.....there are some essentials I have that will be useful, I always buy extra food especially canned etc. But what I meant really I am not set up yet. I don't have bug out bags packed and ready, don't have water purification ready and large containers, don't have a large stash of MRE's and other long term food stash stuff.....etc etc. I'd be in a pile of poop if we had an earthquake that was very bad or some sudden catastrophe.

What I will be able to do quite nicely is shoot a lot of very bad people trying to get their grubby hands on what supplies I do have.:p:eek: I have a bunch of handguns, an AR-15, a .308 bolt action tactical type rifle and two more AR lowers I want to build out. I'm reloading as well. Trouble is, as soon as I make them I go shoot them. I have to get to a point of reloading to have a large supply.

Welcome, your avatar is my familys coat of arms
Mine too. That is cool.....quite a coincidence really. I've not ever met someone other than a family member with our coat of arms. Is your family originally from England?

Welcome from Hawaii, although I am originally from Tujunga in Los Angeles County. My family is in La Crescenta, one town over. Small world really. Any way good luck! I just joined as well and have found this forum to be incredibly fun and insightful.
