I've received a $50 Walmart gift card and I am starting my BOB.

Heres what I have so far:
-Bag
-Small 2 Man tent
-Water
-Mountain House food
-Water Purification Tablets
-Waterproof Matches

I would like to get some help on what I should purchase next using this free prep money from the gift card?
Here are my thoughts....
-First aid kit
-Knife/Multitool

Containers for more water, more food (you never can have enough) LED flashlight, small organizer for important papers. and you can never have enough ammo. Build it up bit by bit, you don't have to have it done tonight. Your bag should be tailored to your needs. Check the BOB checklist on this site, that will keep you up nights. Good luck!

Some more things you might want to add when you get the chance

contractor grade garbage bag (for poncho, tarp, blanket, etc)
Other firestarting methods
Sunscreen
Bug Spray
Duct tape
Toilet Paper
Towels (they make compacted towels)
extra socks


There are lots more, but these can be very helpful
