Yeah the 18-28 year old demographic is pretty much screwed. Yeah we always say the newer generation wont do as well as we did but the thing history is not taking into account is the tremendous amout of debt they are being burdened with in the last 6 years (and we are looking at at least 4 more years of it I might add under the current administration...) is what makes this time around much different. This is also the same demographic that overwhelmingly re-elected a president who in just 4 years ran up over 6 trillion in new additional debt as if the 9.7 trillion we had before wasnt bad enough before Obama took the wheel over. Couple that with the fact that many are up to their eye balls in debt from college with a job market thats unlikely to allow them to pay that debt off anytime in the next 10-20 years and there aint much of a bright future ahead for any of them. Further more all of them that supported all of these free programs like "free health care" are going to be in for a rude awakening when they discover how much this Ponzi Scheme from Obama is going to really cost them when the bill comes due. They think their taxes are high now...they aint seen nothing yet!!! Hell I am not sure I will live to see any benefit from social security and I am almost able to start collecting!!! They are paying for it but there is no way in hell they are going to see a dime of it! Further more I am sure the plan that Obama has thats going to replace SS will be a bigger train wreck than what Obama care is going to be. I am having nightmares about my future and these kids are going to probably outlive me by at least 40 years! Imagine the crap shoot they are looking at if things in this country dont change right fast.
