I have multiple brand-new Rainbow 36A Nuclear-Biological-Chemical (Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear) shelter sets for sale. Brand new in factory packaging. Tape has started peeling on two boxes. One has been opened for inspection and pictures (price can be lowered on this one).

The tents are rated for up to six adults each.

These sets include a 2x2.3 meter tent with blowers (air filtration units). The air filtration units can be powered by 110 VAC standard house current, and include a battery backup (the health of these batteries is not known).

Also available are hand bellows for after the batteries die.

Manufactured 03/2013, and their shelf life ended on 03/2013. However, the tents have been stored properly and the material is still very fit for use. See foot note regarding the Department of Defense definition for shelf life.

More info on this product line can be found at https://standeyo.com/News_Files/Gard...FilterUnit.pdf
Note that the exact tent unit pictured may vary in design.

These were sold to multiple governments for $5,000 each. Asking $3,000. Price negotiable.

E-mail (Gee, guess what was edited out because of the rules) for more details, pictures, or purchase inquiries. Perspective buyers are welcome to inspect and assemble in person (serious inquiries only please, I don't want to waste any of your or my time!).

Technical Details:
Type: B6 0234
Capacity: Up to 6 persons
Nominal air-flow: 36 m^3/h (21 cfm)
Nominal overpressure: 50 Pa (0.2"WC)
Manuf. Date: 03/2003
Batch No.: 1463
Shelf Life: 03/2013

DoD Definition of Shelf-Life:

The total period of time beginning with the date of manufacture, date of cure (for elastomeric and rubber products only), date of assembly, or date of pack (subsistence only), and terminated by the date by which an item must be used (expiration date) or subjected to inspection, test, restoration, or disposal action; or after inspection/laboratory test/restorative action that an item may remain in the combined wholesale (including manufacture's) and retail storage systems and still be suitable for issue or use by the end user. Shelf-life is not to be confused with service-life (defined as, A general term used to quantify the average or standard life expectancy of an item or equipment while in use. When a shelf-life item is unpacked and introduced to mission requirements, installed into intended application, or merely left in storage, placed in pre-expended bins, or held as bench stock, shelf-life management stops and service life begins.)

I have prepper forum memberships available for free for a limited time only. Read the forum first timer rules then go to the Intro Thread and post a little history about yourself and tell us why you are here. After you stick around a while and the seasoned members here can qualify you are not a socialist or demonrat, we might..... again I said might.... answer stupid questions like your first post here.

Please note that if we find out you are only a troll, or a hapless salesman, we will hunt you down and make an example of you.

Hi Evan, welcome to the forum. Did you by chance read the rules? Announcements - Introduce Yourself There is also an introduction section Introduce Yourself The PF natives get restless when someone doesn't introduce themselves before trying to sell something.

Are you by chance preparing for something? Why do you have these tents? Why are you selling them?

Did Stan Deyo suggest you barge onto forums with this without reading the terms and rules?

Just curious.

The bartering forum is for members and not hit and runners.

Guess what is happening in a few minutes.

I have $11,000.00 NBC resistant aluminum comm shelters that came with $35,000.00 worth of HF radios that I paid $250.00 each for.
What makes you think they are worth 3k? more likely $150.00.
I spent 7 years buying and selling DRMO surplus property, you are a scavenger at best.
Take you trade elsewhere, to some unsuspecting sucker.
Most here are wise enough to smell someone out.

By the by, you never even listed where the units are stored or which country you reside in. Units could be in a DRMO in the Mideast or California.
I could have bought plenty of surplus for pennies on the thousands of dollars but would have spent more that their worth getting them here.

Original poster here. Throwaway account, and this will be my last post on this forum. Denton IMMIDIATELY banned me indefinitely without waiting for me to reply to his post. That was unnecessary, and I'm sorry you all have a moderator on a power trip.

Auntie, I appreciate the courteous reply. Much unlike Dentons's.

No, I am not a prepper, neither am I attempting to spam any forums. However, I believe that there are some preppers out there who would be interested in what I'm trying to clear out, and could make good use of them. For such a specialized item (I doubt these are on any Walmart shelves :) ), you need to find the right audience. Your forum seems like a good way to network and get in contact with potential buyers. If I was a part of your community, I'd always be welcome to hearing good offers.

As to where the tents came from, a group of Israelis set up a shop a few years ago marketing high-dollar gear like this. Some of the stuff they sold was really neat, like a disguised bookcase that expanded to be a larger shelter in seconds. Most of their sales were large contract orders, and although business boomed during the Cold War (and briefly after 9/11), the market for these sorts of things have dried up in recent years. They packed up shop and headed back to Israel, when Hamas was really trying to level the space. It turns out they didn't buy enough cargo containers for their merchandise, and with the money that they were making, decided to just give away the rest to the guys who helped load the stuff for them. The aforementioned bookcase shelter was a display item, set up on the floor of their store.

Also, you had a full 30 minutes after my instructions on where/how to do an INTRO before Denton body slammed your no sales tail end, with premium asking prices. You my Friend, were trying to prey on this community.

Actually I thought Denton acted with considerable restraint. There are those here would toy with you like a cat with a mouse. Aught to thank him he did you a favor.
You give me too much credit.

I banned the opportunist, but left the thread open for those who would like to shred him.

Call it a present to all my friends here at Prepperforums.net.

Thanks! I did enjoy doing that.

Not the type needed here with his mindset.

Was just interested in making an excessive buck.

It never ceases to amaze me, how much of a hurry some are to make a quick buck.

They can't even post an intro and a few nothing post to open a door to them.

I have a few things to sell but am too lazy to post them. NO, NO guns or bullets!

This place (mine) is a black hole for guns and ammo, plus related items, they come in but don't go out.

The OP's final post showed he did not get it then either.

DENTON on a power trip? the guy is an a-hole!
