Does anone have any "first hand" experience with a supplier of meals and various foods that they have tried and would recommend? I'm lookin to start laying in some for (hopefully) long term storage. Thanks, JR

I like Wise Company and have try them a like them. I order my from Food Storage | Long Term Food Supply & Freeze Dried Food Storage. They send me a free sample to try and I also learn if you call you can get a better price than online. I talk to Nic Zarbock and the price a little lower, not a lot, but every bit helps and i got a 72 hour meal supply for two free and free shipping.

I have tried the wise food and it is ok. Not as tasty as it looks on the commercials. Their meals are a little pricey in my opinion. I can purchase a ton more food for the same amount of money. White rice, pasta, canned veggies/meats etc.

I gotta agree, seems too pricey. I never tried them, i think simple staples, rice, flour, beans, sugar are the way to go. I am very tempted to get some of the breakfast stuff, the eggs look really good and look simple to prepare. I am big on quick simple breakfasts.
