Hey there glad to have found the forum, looks to be a good community here. I have been planning to start prepping for a few years but my plans were foiled when my boy got ill a few years back. All my funds have gone to his health care… long story. But I am starting to be in a position where I at least have a limited budget now and am hoping to get some help using my recourses wisely while I start over from scratch. I look forward to getting to know you all!

We lived in California for a few years. Loved the weather and most of the people but hated the politics. Dianne Feinstein made me register all my "assault rifles". Glad to be back in the south.

I agree there are some good folks but some are frigging crazy. I remember there was this dude that hid in a pit toilet in one of the state parks so he could look at women's buts.

And he was one of the normal ones.:razz:

Welcome from southern Minnesota. I'm used to crazy. Good luck in your prepping. Any prepping at all is good prepping. Slow and steady wins the race. Don't forget your water. I use milk jugs, bleach and vinegar jugs. And 2 liter pop bottles. I look forward to hearing about your progress! Glad you found us.
