My guess is Europe will survive much better than the US. As a whole, people and society in European countries I've visited / lived in were significantly less greedy and "entitled". So much so it took weeks at first to get used to, and accept people were so genuinely open and honest. Just my view on things as I saw them. But I clearly remember inner city family's with little kids happily walking down streets window shopping at night. :shock: NOT something you see in ANY US city! They'd be a crime statistic before they all got out of their car!

You may be right , BUT the área is so heavily populated that competing for resources will make most humans behave like animals in Little time. Most US central States will never have such a problem. And if you consider a pandemic, we can all be dead or worse before you know it.

I think we'd all like to think "our" area would survive. I met a non prepping liberal from Oklahoma a few years ago on another forum. I once brought up "One Second After" and what if and he discounted it and said he had plenty of meat (cattle) around to eat forever. Plenty of oil, this and that. I asked him how they were doing growing veggies in Oklahoma and he didn't care. How much rain water he could collect - again he didn't care. I don't think he survives his first raid on a farmers cattle in Oklahoma.
