Well you can unravel it, it grips, it does not easily tangle, a piece 1/8" thick is 2500 lb test. You can snare large game without it breaking! What do you think?
Dyneema is certainly strong stuff. I believe it is also used in some light weight backbacks eg Lowe Alpine Nanon. You can usually tell which ones as they will have one of the strands of the nylon material a different colour, that is the Dyneema thread.I think I recall dyneema being used for something else I think it was sails, or body armour.
