the lady in blue seems to be scaring her kid about 5-6 yrs old.
and shes not too bright either she has her candles burning on top of the cat tower.
she'll die from stupidity 1st

too bad people use this and scare their kids. i am more confident with my preps. the kids should be aware, but not afraid.
they are over cooking the goose. you could even see it in her face how fearful she is.

her hoad is rather impressive :)

do you have younguns, what do you tell them about yer prepping?

My kids are too young to know or understand.
DDP is an ok show, its interesting, but has a lot of luntatic/idiotic people on the show that make the rest of us look bad.
I have gained a couple of insights from other preppers on the show, and yes I do DVR every episode.

i Don't have young guns ..

If i did i would educate inform but to the level they can control obviously if he's 8 I'm not going to teach him how to drive a car and shoot out the window while testing the air for radiation haha but i would teach him how to grow crops or bugout and little facts.

Education is power.
I was watching the Hudderites earlier tonight. It was a repeat but I still got something out of it. My kid wanted to change the channel. So here I am kid. Kicked my kid out and Im going to play poker tonight. Maybe even get screwed.
I don't watch the show.... saw it a couple of times, where the folks were portrayed as nuts... figured the show wasn't in my best interest...

hell ya, hes gonna be king pen!
So for an individual in a large city, what options do they have as far as locations to head out to? I know I cant afford an elaborate bunker and if I could there is nowhere to bury it around here.
usually no city is wider than 10 to fifteen miles the first thing to do if you choose to bug out is find the closest way to a suburb an set a lil cache for yourself .. hit that then push outward more till you can establish a Camp comfortable enough for you to sit and figure your next plan. could take day or two .. depending how far you can move in a day
My daughter is 3 yrs old this feb. I do have a bug out bag for her. But not much else. Shes still way to young to understand

You've pegged it! Watched a couple of episodes, then blew it off as pure corn for the most part. Later I tried again, but had to look at is as stated by Jae.
