Today, I made like France, and I surrendered. I realized that my homemade brass tumbler was not going to work. I kept convincing myself that if I added this piece or tweaked that piece that it would be as good as a store bought tumbler. The problem was that I was going to end up spending more than I would on a good Lyman tumbler. My lesson? Sometimes it is cheaper to purchase good equipment, regardless of how cheap you think you can build it for. No one is happier than my wife at my epiphany.
