I have a book from the US Army that has common survival symbols in them that is supposed to be universal. However I'm sure this has changed. Interested to hear from our UK members if these type of symbols still hold true in other countries?

I know that at least ONE hasn't changed... 3 of something for distress

3 fires / 3 smoke signals close to gether/ three piles of rocks, branches in a triangle

other than that i dont know
