Detroit: That Cooky Weather

926 Views 6 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Rigged for Quiet
Detroit lately has rarely been having sunny days.
Seriously, almost every day, it's either rainy or dimming and cloudy.

It wasn't like this last year.
Time to jump toward suspicions.

It's a conspiracy. :-D

Funny that you have rain; We've had nothing but sunshine for the last two and a half weeks, in the mid 80's to lower 90's. Which is pretty unusual for us in the PNW, especially on the western peninsulas. Today started out overcast and cool (a welcome relief) but is burning off. It seems we normally have lots of cloudy skies, cooler temps and rain until mid/late July. We'll get a stretch of ridiculously hot & humid weather in mid-August for a few days, but that's about as extreme as it normally gets.

Hope your weather breaks soon, though I remember a 105 degree day at 100% humidity in Ohio once...I'll skip it. Took a shower and couldn't dry off.
