The bolt locks up on the front trunnion, I would not be afraid to fire it. That has to be the only 14 pound Ak in existense, awesome ingenuity!

Nice! Having worked in a armory and being a certified gun nut who owns a couple of AK's, I have always been convienced that just about every part of an AK could be built in ones garage with the right Jigs and a couple of gun parts. This definitely proves that to be a true fact indeed.

I would have no problem shooting this rifle! I'm sure the shovel is thicker than what the monkeys at Century Arms slaps together and it's heat treated.
