Saw these tracks in the woods this morning.
At first I thought it was something had stepped right on top of a baby deer track.
But all the foot prints are like this, kind of hard to believe something would have walked on a deer track for ten or twelve continuous steps.
Haven't found anything online to match these tracks.

No banana for scale.

What is the gap in the tracks? Does it appear to be bipedal? What is the geological area this was found in? Hovering over your U.S. flag next to your name suggests you're in "Lower Alabama". Is that where this was found?
Looks like sand. Is it on a beach?

So many question!!!

There is a little green plant there in the track.
Looks like three toes in front and two in the back. Mobile county in south west alabama.
It's an old 4 wheeler trail with some sand on it.

We have plenty of hawks around here.
One of my cats disappeared a couple of weeks ago.
Coyote could have got her or a hawk.

Looks like a bird stepping or hopping in its own track. As in left foot stepped on right foot track.
Looks large, any water nearby? Crane or Heron track maybe ?

That's what I thought at first, or bird stepping on a baby deer track. But they go on for ten or twelve feet like that. About 10 miles north of the Mississippi sound but I never see salt water type birds this far inland.
Rain has washed tracks away now.
I think its rained everyday here for a month or two now.
Last few times I walked I haven't seen them again yet.
