Howdy from Florida!

New to the forum here. Starting to get a little more serious about prepping. Have always been a bit of a prepper at heart, always trying to stay prepared for things like hurricane season and other natural disasters might keep me from getting to town for a few weeks. Getting to where I'm trying to think about longer term preparedness for anything that might come about.

The future just keeps looking more and more uncertain. Why risk getting caught unprepared?

Welcome aboard. There will always be something you will be without simply because you didn't need it before that. The extra stuff you have will be for trading for the stuff you don't have but need.

Hello, and welcome to the forum, I sorta feel the same way. I am not looking for the end of times, but rather think harder days may be ahead. I try to have a little put back for when/if it does.

Welcome from Minnesota. I AM NOT a packrat - just well prepared.

The future looked uncertain in 1914 and 1929, maybe in 1961. Looks pretty rosey at least for folks living in the U.S.

Welcome from North florida.
I'm a refugee from South Florida, grew up in Palm Beach County. It was paradise back in the 50's and 60's.
We made our escape in 1995.

There's probably something hardwired into some of us that makes us convinced that dark days are just around the corner.
Every living being's quest for self-preservation, maybe? Anyway, welcome to the forum, severe.
