i made a few. i'm not very good at it yet and i cant aim for nothin. i cant throw a ball ten feet but with my atlatls i can get a dart about 40 yards but i never measured.

The atlatl is a long (6-8 feet) dart or arrow that is launched using a thrower that basically doubles the length of your arm. They can be very efficient hunting weapons for those who master them. They are more difficult to master than a bow but are effective against much larger game than bows are usually use for.
