ok so i hope i put this in the right section. newbie on here but i dont see anything about them on here so far so thought i'd bring em up.

i made a few. i'm not very good at it yet and i cant aim for nothin. i cant throw a ball ten feet but with my atlatls i can get a dart about 40 yards but i never measured.

I had no idea what this was. I found this on youtube. Thought you might like to watch. He makes this out of stock wood.

I had no idea what an atlatl was all about. I read your article and thought that finding the right kind of branch would be tough. I decided to do a youtube search. So far there is little there that can't be found. I have never made an arrow either but I did find how to use an atlatl interesting. Looks like a serious amount of practice though.
