My apologies for the history lesson I am about to give, I am a militiaman after all so it goes on without saying. Back in the 1770 decade before and during the Revolution, there were three types of Americans, the Loyalists who aided the British, the Patriots who fought them and the Redcoats, and those that didn't fight (you) and thought they could avoid the British and stay in hiding. Guess what, if they weren't eaten by the natives and carnivorous animals, the British got to them eventually and disarmed them first cause they were the easier targets (unlike a town where everyone banded together to fight). And I guaran-goddamn-tee you that with how easy it is to find someone these days, it'll be alot worse now than back then. Again, we can respect your mind-set on these matters, but it has proven (to us at least) that it doesn't work. You'll eventually be isolated, hunted down, and your numbers will decrease to a point where there's none of you any longer. I ask the tactician within yourself, if you were presented a target, how would you attack? You wouldn't attack the brunt of it - the strong side of it, no you'd divide and conquer that mother****er, and thus you go after the easier targets, the smaller sized targets, why? cause they would provide less resistance. And if you wanna go thinking "Oh, they won't get me that easily, I know what I'm doing!" another news flash, so do they, if not better! You think you know how to evade trackers, guess what, so did the guys they've gotten before you. There's always someone out there better than you at something and with how much financing the government has, what's stopping them from saying no? Why do you think the saying goes "UNITED WE STAND! DIVIDED WE FALL!" I find that saying as cheesy, lame, and annoying as the next guy, but it's the truth. So forgive me, I actually thought you were more intelligent than that, I was obviously wrong.

mayhaps this feller don't have forum cooth, not a crime, and militias are not a crime. its the slant of different groups that could get dicey. not all have a distasteful slant.
I would look into an evac group for entertainment purposes only.

DO look up the meetup.com site for survival groups and stuff they are always having gatherings and teachings like drinking water/ grey water/ fire starting/ survival trapping/canning/ meat preservation/ basic firearms training going into the local mountains learning the plants and trees and what to do with which. lots of great info to hand to a group. I do like that ya'll schedule to good things for the community.

Like the XO in our WH, your XO seems to be of the same following and it seems to me you are following a looser and you seem unable to get to the point of questioning his leadership, so that puts you in the same boat. Right or wrong, just follow orders right. Then come on a forum of people that are doing just what you don't, we question people and their motives and it seems your group leaves something to be desired. i see no reason for me to get involved in a back and forth of "trolling" with you. like i have said the actions of my XO were genuine, but not appropriate on this forum at this time. however you seek to question and that is a admirable quality, though it can be done in a more respectful tone.

so i pose to you this simple answer... if you have a question on our organization or myself as the CO please ask and i will answer to the best of my ability so long as it is appropriate and in a respectful fashion.

@pheniox17 truthfully i don't see how we made a massive mistake "nothing life threatening at least" all this is, is a verbal back and forth between people. ill admit things were not done properly to begin with and i hope to rectify that in the coming weeks to years. i would respectfully ask that our organization not be referred to as noobish as i feel it demeans the intent of our group as well as the life experience of each member. also i can completely agree with you that name calling is kind of idiotic as most of us will never meet each other in real life and some attempt at ruffling feathers seems childish, but sadly many do tend to suffer from keyboard warrior syndrome or as i like to call it KBWS.

maybe (a suggestion) as your getting to know the members here in other posts, ditch the turm militia and adopt the turn club (as effectively that's what your trying to.be) maybe after some time most members will worm up to the idea... (ditch godaddy, get a real .com and use it as a signature, this will be more effective advertising than anything else, I recently found a prepper page through a signature, that was only looked at because of the quality he delivered)

If you look back at my posts on this subject, you will notice that I never said anything, in favor or against, you forming a militia. My beef is with your advertising of it. Going back to your third sentence of this post:

I am not a militia guy; I have other ideas. But if you insist on doing the militia thing AND advertising yourselves on the internet, maybe you should consider a couple other options for how to go about that:

1 - Do not use ANY name server. (GoDaddy.com? Really?) House your website by IP address only, and then only on servers that you do not own, rent or have any documented control over, etc.

2 - Change the IP address of your server at least weekly, if not daily.

Anybody that is not smart enough to find you is probably not somebody that you want anyway,

Going onto you last paragraph, do you really equate yourselves with the Patriots of 1770? They had a strategy figured out for 20 years into the future before they ever fired the first shot. You cannot even manage tactics for putting up a website that is secure and private. Really? Long term strategy appears to be well beyond your capabilities. What is your plan? Do you intend to stand out on Concord green and shoot federal workers? I will put a bullet through your skull myself if that is your goal.
