Hey guys, for anyone that hasn't read up on my last post, I'm in a constitutional militia based in Southern California (mostly around the LA County area). We are currently looking to see if anyone is interested in joining. Here's our site, take a look at it:

L.A.N.C.E.R. MILITIA - HOME

Also, does anyone know where to go when it comes to recruiting for a militia (already went to gun shops and ranges, anywhere else)? Thanks for reading.

We actually have a screening process before even introducing the possible member to the whole militia.
shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, religious belief, sexual origin, marital status, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

How do you decide.

I think you've twisted what we were saying. But I digress. The purpose of the questions are simply to make sure that we know who you are (make sure we're not dealing with a murderer, a rapist, another Timothy McVeigh, etc.). After the executive staff approves (in order to get our approval, you just have to have a clean history, and even then, we can try to work with you on that, hence the extra question) then you go into a 6-month Initiation Phase where you aren't a member yet (this is to make sure you are who you say you are and to get to know you). Can't just expect us to decide on the go right there, if you're gonna be watching our back, you're damn right we wanna get to know you first.

They probably have to put that disclaimer because they live in California

What part of LA?

I'm at least an hour and a half or so away from the Orange County side of Los Angeles.

That is doable. But not if you're in SFV or Glendora or something like that. That's about 2.5 hours haha. Can't afford that gas bill.

Otherwise I'm down :)

It sounds like the same requirements for joining a motorcycle gang. Probably why they get so many undercover agents in them....

I am not trying to be a jerk or anything, but... Posting a recruiting message for a militia on a public website when you live in California? Really? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FREAKIN' MIND?!?! Did you just score a really good deal on a truckload of donuts that you cannot wait to share with all of the alphabet soup agencies?

Maybe it would be prudent to spend a little time studying up on OPSEC before you move your militia too far down the path.

Wow...stereotypical much? No wonder people consider us prejudicial. Look, say and think what you will, but the reasons for disregarding the procedure that we have is the same reason why we (militias, preppers, survivalists, etc. all alike) get so much flak. I personally don't care about a person's belief both religiously, philosophically, or politically, however you cannot argue against the fact that the actions of a few extremists that have been associated with us have given us a bad rep, what do you think will happen if we just allow them membership? We'd go down hard with that kind of spotlight on us, so my apologies if we seem to be a bit more cautious than the average militia.

Inor...are you really that frightened by 'big brother' that you would hide from those that are interested in joining you? I hate to break it to you, but the government knows we're here, they knew a LONG time ago. You think that just simply avoiding posting things up and we'll be good? I guarantee you they know who we are - ALL OF US - on this forum. And yeah, I live in Kommifornia/People's Republic or California/the Democratic-Republic of California/etc. I get it (I'e heard a lot worse) and you guys can all bag on where I live, that's fine, I don't disagree. But to hide from those that are interested about this organization - OUR organization, that's ridiculous. It all comes down to the dividend of society and which side you are on in this spectrum: Constitutionalist or Sovereign Citizenship. Although we can respect those of a sovereign citizenship mind-set, we as a militia cannot thrive on that, we cannot thrive when we ourselves are abandoning our constitutional duties. Again, I can respect that mind-set, but it's not us, we're here not only to prepare and protect ourselves, but also be there for our community. Say all you will about that, but that's what we're about. And as far as OPSEC goes, last I checked, I didn't give away our location, I didn't give away our member's strengths, I didn't give even an address for a meet up. The point of our website IS to be out in the public, again we're here for ourselves and our community. And the if you take a look at our site, nowhere does it mention anything other than things that we don't mind sharing with the public. I do mean this when I say "Please point out any leaks" cause that would help, really it would. But we personally made this site and we made sure nothing would leak out info other than a small "Get to know us" section which we all agreed was necessary. Anonymity is great, but only works for those of a sovereign citizen mind-set.

Southern komiefornia or is that northern mexico militia that your talking about? Or is it the gay/lesbian militia, drug dealers militia, anti - American rights militia, climate change militia or anti - gun militia. You are not thinking people in komiefornia would go against the government in a violent way are you, the vote there is working so good for them now, why change anything. Isn't it better to just sit back and watch everything fall apart around you and just whine for someone else to help you!

id like an evacuation group :) and to go train and have fun with my guns. im always having fun with my guns. I don't want no scratchy itchy outfit though. and I don't want to be made to go out when its hot out. I don't do well in the heat. on a voluntary basis. I think of it often, but the heat and outfits wouldn't be good on my delicate disposition- I turn into a bitch quickly in the heat.
