Any DC/NoVa/Maryland preppers?

I'm trying to learn more about DC-Northern Virginia-Maryland-area preppers or survivalists for Washingtonian, a local magazine (so full disclosure, I am a journalist). Basically, I'm hoping to interview local preppers about how and why they prep, what got them started, and who they are outside of prepping, because the point of this part of the article is to show that there are everyday people in this area who have given thought to being prepared when SHTF.
