We live here in New York and in a rural area. Here we have a good bit of Amish folks and they have dry good stores. They sell bulk and this is were we buy a lot of our sugar flour, popcorn and such in 50 lb bags. Also get species, canning supples, you would be surprised what they stock and the price difference. We also learned they also run a plant nursery during garden season. But the only problem with these store, there no signs or advertizing of them. You have to ask around. If you live near Amish its worth asking around. And best part they only deal in cash and you purchases are not record.

Wow, Y'all are already contributing. We have some Amish not too far down the road from us and I never thought about contacting them about stored foods, particularly canned foods. Most of our food is freeze dried or commercially canned, but some home canned would be a nice treat now and then. Thanks for the tip!
