Well, that was easier and quicker to accomplish than I thought.
So, a bit more about me. Former attempted to be career military until a boo boo ended my 10 yr run a while back. On a brighter note, I have replacement parts that are stronger and lighter than the originals. Thankfully, all extremities are still attached!
I reckon most folks who spend that long in the military have some built in Prepper tendancies, whether they be latent or blatent. Once the decision was made to take readiness a bit more seriously I was pleasantly surprised at just how much was already in place, but needed a bit of organization and planning. Story of my life.....
I've hunted and fished off and on for most of my adolescent and adult life, and can remember being about 8 yrs old when I got my first .22 rifle. I've lived all over this great land and had to become familiar with the regional hunting requirements/restrictions which helped round out my non rifle hunting skill set.
I just turned 50, not sure how that happened when I remember being a mere 30 a couple of years ago. I guess that explains how the 2 kids got be in their 20's and the arrival of the grand munchkin'.
One thing I hope to accomplish as a long term goal is to better connect with the DFW area community. I firmly believe that there is strength in numbers provided a common goal and/or belief system is shared.
