Playin' with the scale and some ammo . . .

5.7 x 28 .......................7 grams..................65 rounds/pound
9mm............................12 grams.................38 rounds/pound
.357 Sig........................13 grams.................35 rounds/pound
.40 S&W........................17 grams.................27 rounds/pound
.45 ACP.........................21 grams.................22 rounds/pound

Well now I know what your collection of sidearms looks like. :)

I've got 100 rounds in my bag. It's one of the single heaviest things in there... which is why I've been recently burying caches along routes of travel I may some day find myself on. If I had to drop it all, I would; I consider my knife a far more important all around tool than any other, and it's barely noticeable when worn on my belt.

Wait for it, we're about to hear why this makes .22lr the greatest survival round of all time! :D

A small part of it. Don't have any .22TCM to weigh.
