Ran into town this morning LGS I shop at that is known for fair prices.
Had 115gr ball 9mm on rack 25 cents a round limited
40mm 28 cents plenty of it
45 40 cents lots of it
7.62 X39 33 cents steel case limited supply
5.56 green tip LC 50 cents a round fair supply
Pretty good selection of reloading supplies.

Some real nice deals on HD type 12ga shot guns 200-500 depending on name brand and hardware.
Some outstanding buys on different AR's some good quality stuff at 800 range. A few in the 1200 range that would have been very fair buys considering the hardware. But you would need to know what you wanted and value of different hardware to make your best deal.
Nice prices for today on a wide selection of revolvers and Autos.
Maybe time to give your self a gift or two.

I picked up 100 rounds 9mm
and a generic AR field repair kit. (springs, pins firing pin ect ). Had used up and given away a lot of my spare parts.

Heading into town this morning I may or may not pick up some 5.56 green tip LC. Meeting I had was canceled so I have a few hours to kill.
Question how can a snow storm cause a phone conference to be canceled due to weather. I am going to bring that up next week.
Shelf was full of 40,38 and 45. Some bulk 5.56 62grand 223 55gr But that was over priced IMO at 55-60 cents a round. How ever the 5.56 was Quality stuff.
Took a box of .45 home 250 230Gr Brass 99 dollars. Never have to much .45 ammo

Thinking of cancelling my PSA order and putting the $415 towards bullets, brass, powder and primers.
It's not good to have 5 guns shoot the same caliber with only 4K worth of food
Was in Wal mart to buy a new house phone, you know the one with a land line, and cruised sporting goods.
They had a lot of 40, 45, and some 38. Plenty of rifle ammo.
No 22 and no 9mm.
Grabbed a federal .22lr 550 pack at wallys yesterday, they had 4,there were 3 other people standing behind me that wanted some too.if they were not there and I would have had the $,I would have walked away with three.they were $25.41 out the door.they had everything else too, including cci mini mags @ $6.50 for 50...too high.my local has been doing pretty good on ammo stocks, even .38 spl +p 100 packs.very surprising.wish the ammo budget was higher.
Scored 2000 SS109's for $252 and 1000 once fired ,swaged ,tumbled LC 556 brass for $85 shipped. I really need to cancel that upper now
I got the last 2 boxes of Blazer 22lr at Academy Sports today!
Ran into town today. Same as last post on prices better supply.
More 40 caliber than you could haul home. Quality 5.56 about 60 cents a round
.45;s plenty depending on box 250 $89-109
Few 9mm 115 ball brass quality stuff $14 a box
0 22's
I left it all there for the next person.
I am getting American Eagle 223 and 5.56 for $7.99 a box of 20 and 22LR for $19.00 a 500 round brick.

I have new guns and need the brass for reloading. The loaded ammo is about the same as I can find once fired brass for so I have the first shot for free and with the 5.56 I get to fire-form to the 7TCU for the same price as buying just the brass. I pick up the 22LR because I am competing in small bore silhouette and go through a few more rounds than most.
Man if I see 22 like that I will buy a bunch. None available around here.
Did some shopping today just a general idea of prices here at local Gun store
9mm bras US made 28.4 cents around in 100 boxes. 28.9 cents in a 100 round box. limited
Super ninja zombie killer JHP 9mm 20 rounds 17-25 dollars a box.
Good quality 5.56 62 gr 55-60 cents a round limited
Good quality .223 55gr 45-60 cents limited
40 caliber at 25 cents a round to much to carry out two rows full
.45 caliber 40 cents a round in bulk 250 round box plenty
No .22 no one round
NOTE all price I list are out the door taxes included.
So the only way to get 22LR where I live without paying 60 dollars a brick (you can buy it all day long at that price from the resellers) is to show up at walmart at 5am in the morning. up until Dec. I did not have to worry about 22. Well I bought my daughter a 22 for Christmas and my Wife a 22 for Valentines day. in the last 4 months I have been able to pick up about 6000 rounds at non stupid pricing about 24 dollars a brick. But I have had to spent every satarday morning at 5am in the morning waiting at walmart to get it (any later than 5:30 and their are already 10 to 12 people in line). To be honest those 60 dollars a brick are starting to sound nice so I don't spend hours on end waiting in walmart.

I have given up trying to get it at Cabelas The very rarely get in anything bigger than the 100 round boxes and they still limit you to 1 pack of anything bigger than 100 rounds.
I can get almost any standard caliber locally, except good quality SD 9mm and .22LR. Buy all my .22LR online, and in fact just received from UPS a shipment of 1000 rnds of CCI .22LR yesterday for .06 a rnd. It's available, but you have to work for it. I put in a lot of hours every week searching the internet. In the last 3 months I've acquired approx 3000 rnds. I've been able to help out my friends and stock up for myself. But did I say it's a lot of work?
I'm packing up to move, I haven't touched the ammo yet (its coming) Just the spent brass waiting to be reloaded alone fills a 32 qt. tub and is surprisingly heavy. lol
It must be the 650 pieces of .45ACP and 500 pieces of .38 sp. new brass I added to it. I know I have 500 pieces of new nickel plated .357 brass that is around here somewhere. I have probably 70 to 80lbs of old scrap brass that's either going to the recycler or the club, the club recycles it and sends the proceeds off to fund the US Olympic shooting team. I'm thinking the club will get it.

Ammo? crap! Some days I wished I had less! I know that goes against logic, but damn it I got move this shit! and it is frigging heavy. I guess some people have my problems and other wished they did.
Yes it is heavy, I had the bright idea of filling a large ammo can I have with all .45's. After it was filled I could not move it.
Yea, heavy stuff, everytime I want to inspect my ammo,I wear my back belt now.......need....to.....go....shoot...a....bunch....decent weather approacheth here soon I hope.
Our wally world had bulk federal high speed 22 LRJHPs for $24 for 525 so reasonable. and theyhad at least ten boxes left when I got there

If you send me the excess you won't have to move it.
Lately, even though I normally carry my 380, I have started adding to my 9mm stock through an online site located here in Nevada. Lately I've been able to pick up 124gr FMJs for right at the same price of the 115gr when I can find them and as a result, I'm replacing all my 115gr as I use them with the 124gr. Went to three Wally Worlds and did not see enough 9mm of any sort to make me pay attention. Absolutely no 22lr.
