Ran into town this morning LGS I shop at that is known for fair prices.
Had 115gr ball 9mm on rack 25 cents a round limited
40mm 28 cents plenty of it
45 40 cents lots of it
7.62 X39 33 cents steel case limited supply
5.56 green tip LC 50 cents a round fair supply
Pretty good selection of reloading supplies.

Some real nice deals on HD type 12ga shot guns 200-500 depending on name brand and hardware.
Some outstanding buys on different AR's some good quality stuff at 800 range. A few in the 1200 range that would have been very fair buys considering the hardware. But you would need to know what you wanted and value of different hardware to make your best deal.
Nice prices for today on a wide selection of revolvers and Autos.
Maybe time to give your self a gift or two.

I picked up 100 rounds 9mm
and a generic AR field repair kit. (springs, pins firing pin ect ). Had used up and given away a lot of my spare parts.

I am starting to see things stableize around here as well. 9mm is still hit and miss and .22LR is still nonexistent. But everything else seems to be showing up at fair prices. Primers are still a little high though.

22 rim fire? I remember those . They discontinued those some time during the second kingdom of Obama I think
The 100 rounds of 9mm I picked up won't last 30 minutes just figured I was there may as well .
May burn some up today.

Local Walmart still had 2 boxes of 100 round CCI Mini-Mags on the shelf yesterday at noon. I had to do a double take and it was gone shortly thereafter.
Some kind of good sign? I haven't seen .22LR at Wallyworld in almost a year.

I grabbed a ton of PRVI .223 for 7.00 per 20 rounds and I have been buying 7.62x54R from Sportsman's Guide by the tin. I'm about to add another 440 round can to the pile then I'm done with ammo.

I've been keeping a watch for .22 LR ammo and it is scarce. Still seeing hundred dollar bricks of Rem. Thunderbolts. Not a chance!
My stainless 10/22 will rust before I spent that kind of money on 22 LR ammo. I may wear out the AR shooting 8 buck a box .223's before the price of .22 LR comes down. So be it!

I was just at Walmart. They had 38 special, 45 ACP and 22LR. I got a box of each. Life is good.
They did have a large supply of .38 I just glanced passed it . I have enough .38s to last two life times

Things have stabilized here, some! Still real tough to find 22lr at any price. Centerfire ammo is around but you may have to hit a few shops to get what you want. Some may be out of a particular caliber or limit how much you can buy.

Reloading components are still pretty tough to find, or too high in price. Tough to find jacketed bullets and seeing sporatic shortages on primers. Passed on a brick of 1000 Remington 209 primers at $40. All the bricks of primers were at $40! Seems all components are going up.

I hit Gander Mtn at 7am every time I have a Saturday off for .22lr ammo. You pull a number and wait for them to open at 8am then you get to buy one box, last time it was the CCI AR Tactical ammo. Who ever heard of a tactical .22lr??? Oh well it's ammo I guess.

Whoot Whoot scored on 3 boxes of Winchester 333 22 lr for 13.00 bucks a box last night. Headed back there tonight to see if they still have any left and if so I will buy the other 3 remaining boxes! Maybe not the best deal but its the first time I have seen 22 in anything more than a smattering of 50 and 100 round packs.

That's $40 per 1000 and a great deal in today's market.

I've only needed 7.62x51'for the M1a. It's a caliber I never had before the rifle and with the addition of the rifle I'm trying to add the ammo. I just got some in Sacramento at .60 a round for some decent brass based stuff which I want for the reloading.

Maybe I'm spoiled or out of touch with the current market. This particular shop is always known for being 10-20% high. But they're in the metro St. Louis area, five minutes from the house. You pay for the convenience.

Two other shops about a 40 minute drive outside the metro area have much better prices. $32-35 on primers. At least that's what they were on my last visit in August.

Today at Cabelas, I picked up a couple of boxes of 9mm and two 1 lb. canisters of H335. They still have a limit on the powder only 2x per, when I asked about the 9mm I was told no limit buy as much as I wanted or as many as I could afford. Bout time!

I could have went hog wild on the 9mm, yet showed some restraint. I've been patient for this long, no need to make a complete fool out of my self just because reasonably prices ammo is back. But I thought about it:)

i scored 2k of 9mm (reload), 2k .22(Remington) and 1k 223 (reload) for $500 out the door on Thursday night. i was well pleased. i'll take it and resale it to the little gun store in 29palms near my sons usmc base so there can be ammo in the desert. its a shame to have all that BLM and no ammo. ill double my money and go back for the same deal (x2), save one lot for me, one lot to resale. and then double down again. God bless America, USMC and Texas.

i love buying ammo and the guys at the store love giving me a super deal, hell, they even load my car.
