yeah we had a 5.8 or 6.8 dont remember which off the coast of Oregon. Luckily our soil and mantle comp doesnt really get too bad when something like that happens out in the ocean. Were overdue for the Cascadia Earthquake. With the fault being in the ocean Im not certain of the real risk to the interior but the coast is definitely at risk to Tsunami. But yeah that is a reason I prep like I do.

I'm an east coaster so I'm not directly influenced by volcanic activity or earthquakes... unless the line responsible for the VA quake went last year becomes more active that is...
