I get it everyone is waiting for the exchange of thermonuclear weapons. But, and this is a big but.... I'm still not convinced that there will a full on exchange. I'm hedging my bets that the exchange will be enough to knock out utilities.... Like in One Second After.

I concur. Thermal weapons would destroy and contaminate anything that our adversaries care to acquisition. China being number one on the list of countries that would love to have our resources. An EMP would do all the work for them. A week without food, fuel, water, and electricity in any major metropolitan area would do the job in quick order. In a few more weeks this country will have torn itself to pieces. No need for them to invade early on in the game. Just sit back and watch. And just in case you haven't been paying attention, Russia, China, Iran, etc are all currently lining up against us. I seriously doubt that the insane lunatics running this country have any clue as to what they are setting us up for. Then again, they may be doing it on purpose. Neither will make any difference in the end.

I've been told Russia has built--and is now building--bomb shelters for their citizens.
ETA: We used to have a forum member who grew up in Russia and she posted about it here. If I can, I'll see if I can dig up those old posts.
I read that they built shelter for large numbers of common citizens, which we did 70 or 80 years ago. But our "civil defense" doesn't exist anymore and was dismantled when fema started. Our govt has some space for top donors but has no other anything for people and could camp up and give something to less than 10% as far as i know. Brave your free azz out and dig you a hole!
From at least 60 years ago and on, all "social" money for museums as well as asylums has been shifted to WELFARE and GRIFT under colour of "social aid" to the lowest, dumbest bracket, growing it into an actual % of the population that never had a place in life, let alone society, which is why they mill around pointless and angry, with no options but ugly ones.
Our country paid for the Kansas City Museum and Planetarium, Libraries and other UPWARD Human resources and blessings......until hippies and then later the death blow, "911" - now besides welfare that they are bored of, we buy other countries dumbazzes and grift through them.
I watched all of it like anybody born between 1950-70 did.

Correct,. There was a time after 1949 when USSR had bomb shelter space for everyone. Even in small towns and remote villages. The population of what is currently Russia Federation, has been in decline. So, one would assume there is currently abundant space. Roughly two'ish years ago Russia started refurbishing the shelters and restocking them with better long term storage food. There is much more to this, but this is good for now.
Note: Even in Moscow and surrounding city there is abundant space for everyone. There is also redundant everything government located far from Moscow, in the mountains.

They started refurbishing them last year after UKE reached out at HIMARS O’clock.
Based on the shoddy work ethic, I don’t think it would do much good anyway.

As normal your post makes no rational sense.
So, should I conclude that "NO" shelter is better than a lower quality shelter. Many loathe and or hate Russia. But at least they built Bomb shelter for every man, woman & child. America has spent hundreds of billions of dollars building shelters for government and military and corporate elite "ONLY" using taxpayer funds.
They have gone to great lengths to ensure the taxpayer-public knows little about their existence or location. I am highly impressed with the one in the mountain at Camp David, MD.

And as usual, you rely on the same tired sources of bs. RUS shelters have been neglected for decades, and are nothing more than shoddy basements. It’s really interesting that you believe RUS is this Almighty Powerful nation that is undefeated and a winner of all things military.
It would appear that your education consists of 1950s comic books, rather than factual information.
The location of US shelters is well known. Just because you aren’t on the invite list is moot. You don’t possess the needed skills nor education to be included.

As usual, ‘the Putz’ chimes in with his expert opinion. Putz! You claim to know of the capacity and construction quality of Russian bomb shelters. You also infer as to the quality/quantity of the supplies stored in each shelter. Do you have first hand knowledge? Have you personally inspected these shelters? Please sight your sources. I strongly suspect it’s just more of your bullshit. Have you ever actually visited Russia or any former satellite countries?
Listen to you. Hacking that down by hand almost makes roughing it worthwhile.
Who besides military and millionaires is "invited"? "Education and skills" are not the new word for practical satanism.
