Supplement it with a few items and this should work for 72 hours. Just have an esbit stove or such.

I think the idea is if you try it you will buy more. Then again it could be crap. Everyone likes something different.

I don't know. That website looked kind of shady to me so I did some quick research and it seems things might not be up to snuff.

What I found in general is that all the portion type bagging is too small, that is in all the ones I have tried.
What I plan to do is add a filler to each, the fillers are rice and semolina based.
The idea is to consume enough calories, adding a serving of the filler of your choice will do that cheaply.
These pre-packaged meals help prevent "food burnout" by rotating them in with other food stores.
I am lucky in the manner that I get the Wise brand wholesale from the LGS who buys 3-4 pallets at a time for the store.

Drinking straws make descent water proof containers for various things. Example: salt/pepper.
I use them for camping. They also double as an artificial fishing lure with the straws have colored stripes on them.
You push a small hook into the straw and this makes the straw spin in the water. Works great in salt water when the fish are active.
For fresh water I've used them with a piece of earthworm night crawlers packed into the straw for scent.
A combination of fresh bait and artificial.
Multiple uses for items, that's what I like.
A friend of mine jammed Vaseline cotton balls into drinking straws and sealed the ends with a lighter and uses them as fire starters
vaseline as a smear fire starter - yes ... never heard of anyone trying to cram a cotton ball into a straw - cigar tubes and similar sized containers ....
