How do I change my picture by my name?
Up top of page click on private messages (under forum button).
On left side of new page Under heading for MY SETTINGS click on EDIT AVATAR.
On main part of page , is CUSTOM AVATAR,
click on it and add the photo/image you want from your computer.
Then save changes

So sorry for your loss
So sorry to hear about Barney, I have two babies (Westies) myself, I am dreading the day we have to say goodbye to them.
It was a hard couple of months. My wife wants to get a new dog but I am not quite ready. Maybe in the spring we'll go look at puppies and I am sure I'll be unable to resist.
Barney looks like he was a good one, sorry for your loss. He's probably chasing squirrels in Heaven!
