My understanding of PXII is the he was a good holy pope, but a bad judge of character. Unfortunately he appointed prelates who did a lot to foster the downfall of the faith.

This wasn't an attack on Catholicism. It was an attack on Christianity. We all know it. We also know Macron, and we know the billionaires who gave money to have the Notre Dame restored.
Europe is lost. It is secular to the core, now. We know how this is going to end.
My heart aches for you, my sister. I know this hurts you deeply.
The future is going to be a bad one. You know this as you put it in the prophecy forum. Still, sister, you know Who is in charge.

You have the faith. Me? I know what I believe but I fear I rely on knowledge too much. I asked my Southern Baptist deacon father about Catholics and his answer was, "If they believe in Jesus, Jesus will be there for them. I believe that, too.
The burning of that church was for a reason. The pope is for a reason. He is embracing Islam. He speaks for Catholicism. This is a test for believers. Focus on Jesus only. Time is short.
    Well said Denton.

My argument is with the maligning of Pius XII, because I do know that those who maligned him were wrong. Years ago I made the acquaintance of a nun who set out to do the research for the purpose of writing a book--at my house. She collected many first hand accounts of what PXII did to rescue the Jews from the Nazis. If you look at the numbers of Italian Jews who were rescued during I think was like 80% as opposed to other European countries where only 11% survived. Baptism accounts were falsified at the Vatican for the sake of rescuing countless souls from the concentration camps. Religious nuns went hungry because they had so many refugees to feed in the convents--by order of the pope.

Mom's Dad was gonna be a Priest, Mom's Mom was gonna be a Nun. Well they had 10 kids, and Gramps got sum.

    Guess how I was raised?

Last time I went was 12/18/18 for a celebration of life for Mum. They want me back, as I was a usher who handled the weekly offering's. They didn't want me to carry, but the " offering's" had to be put in a safe, with a lock code.

Why would a safe and code be needed, if they were worried about the Benjamin's. Benjamin's are safe, who cares about the messenger

BTW, an Catholic Usher , is considered part of " The Ministry":

Will have to agree with them who said..we love Catholics but dont care for their theology...but the same can also be said for several main line Protestant denominations. The gorilla in the room is a faith based theory called supersessionism. The adherents believe that God broke all his unbreakable promises to the Jews via Abraham and King David..with the blessings minus the attendant cursings were passed on to the Catholic Church...since the mean old Jews killed Jesus..whiich was defintely not nice. The concept was imparted by extension to its early splinter groups after what is called the Reformation..where old Martin Luther nailed his feces to the church house door. It is still a core belief of Catholics...Lutherans..Presybterians and Methodists to name but a few. It dont make a lick of sense to me...but they believe it whole heartedly. lol.

God can never break His promise, but the Jews can and did break their end of the promise, or covenant. When the Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, they could no longer offer sacrifices. This was their punishment. The One Holy Sacrifice is now Calvary which is ever present at the Mass. That said, the remnant of Jews will one day turn to Christ and when they start to convert en Mass, we'll know that's a sign of the times and we'll be very close to the end times.

Do you ever think about how Americans that are going into socialist slavery are sort of like the Hebrew nation in Egypt? Once we were free and now we're being enslaved with more and more socialism? Every time I turn around it seems to me there's more big government, and so many people actually want that.
