The upper is what I actually built as the lower is an existing one that I had on the Grendel that I already had.

    - 18" Criterion stainless barrel with a rifle length gas system
    - Tool Craft Bolt Carriage with a JP Headspaced/matched bolt
    - Aero precision M4A1 upper and matching enhanced 12" handguard
    - BCM Gun Fighter charging handle with the large latch
    - JP adjustable clamp on gas block
    - Spikes tactical carbon fiber gas tube
    - Aero Precision M6 Gama muzzle device
    - Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 FFP scope
    - Warne 20MOA Skeletal scope base

Waiting on a Harris bipod and a vortex scope bubble level as well.
Should be a shooter. Criterion guarantees MOA with match production ammo. Hand loads almost always bring better than MOA, so I will reload Grendel in the not too distant future.

Vortex level is nice I have one but the Wheeler one folds in out of the way and is generally a better value. check one out if you have not.

I really like the 6.5 Grendel as an intermediate to long range round. Much lower recoiling round than .308 and better flight characteristics than the .308 as well. Decent selection of bullets now. 90grns-140grns.

I am always glad to hear about another Grendel. Mine has thousands of rounds through it and going strong.New Grendel Build Done-grendel-003.jpg
