The MAK 90's we have are pre Brady Bill and a couple early post Brady bill. None of them have the mount for the Russian style scope mount. Not sure I would spend the money to make one fit. We have couple From the end of the Brady bill that do have the mount. While it is a good mount , it does take away from the nice things about an AK. The AK is right for a simple reddot. It is not now nor will it be a long range weapon. Even a very low cost Tru-glow works well on it. Battery life sucks.
Personally I would not put a lot for money in a Mk90. I can see the attraction to dressing one up a bit. Not a go to weapon and the Reddot was put on just to test it out. Can mot deny this one is fun to shoot and at ranges it was made to work at, it is effective.
Just another version of the same weapon they call it an AKM. If I were going to keep it setup with a Reddot I would get the tools out . Pick a goof mid-level Redot Cut down the extar lenght on the mount and rduce the clutter.

I'm leaning more and more towards the Texas Weapons system dog leg rail.

They work problem is movement , however again on a Ak variety will it make much difference likely not. The reason many purchased MK90's was ammo was cheat 10 cents a round. MK 90 were about $139 . You took them out back and shot the crap out of them at anything and everything. It was not uncommon to burn up 1000 rounds having some fun on a range day after the serious stuff was over.
The question always is how much do you put in to a weapon like that. Of course a man is always free to spend as they see fit. Modding out a weapon is not always about what makes sense , we darn sure know that.
Action taken with anything we have a Passion for often does not make sense. And what a boring world it would be if it was any different.

I consider my N-PAP the current value priced AK. I like the look of your setup.

Thats my only complaint about Yugo AKs. The non standard furniture.
