I need a recipe for biscuits

I need a recipe for quick and easy biscuits. I been just mixing shorting and flour to make my
biscuits. I guess there OK But there a little crumbly I would like them to be more bread like.

I could use a quick recipe for brown gravy also.

My gravy is so bad I put some on my dogs food to give it flavor.
Soon as he was done eating it he started licking his butt.
I think he was trying to get the taste out of his mouth.

I love biscuits made with Pioneer mix. That's what I use. Then you put chocolate gravy on them and it's perfection.

Dittos to Auntie. Alton Brown makes the best biscuits in town. It takes a cute big bottomed cow girl wearing tight Wranglers to make good gravy. When the two Bob Cats in the tow sack quit fighting...its time to eat.

Ya'll just made me go back to the Unmentionable version of the complete book of OUTDOOR COOKERY by Marshall, but drink and the Devil have done for the rest, so what Ya'll resides, for the time Ya'll weren't born, cause I'll be eating the JOHNNYCAKE's on page 187, so the recipe Ya'll requested is a page or two before, Guess I can only participate with a JOHNNYCAKE Recipe. Can Ya'll excuse us Old Folk?
