    IRS Taxes and Change

Will we ever see a change in the Federal Tax Code? Will we in the next 20 years or so see a Flat or Fair Tax? Who is for a big change and simplification of the tax code?

To many lobbyists to get a flat tax. If we could get 2 term limits might be a little easier.

There are significant changes to the code every several years. The most recent are related to the implementation of the ACA. Our tax system isn't just a simple revenue generating device. It also functions as a social engineering system. Our economy is so entwined in the tax code that it would take a generation phase it out without massive disruptions to our economy.

No, there are many propel against the current tax system but from opposing opinions. Most people refuse to understand that the customers pay corporate taxes. The myths are too many to list.

Just because I vote for a flat tax does not mean I think it will happen. They only way Hillary will work for a flat tax is the rate would be 85%.
You won't see a reasonable flat tax . Liberals and socialist will never allow it.

I had to select the Flat/Fair Tax. I wish there would have been a forth option of lighting all government bureaucrats on fire and going back to just having import tariffs.

This a moot argument, the current promises of the government for retirement, benefits, and disability is almost 50% more than they take in, once the dollar collapses then 50% of the people be SOL.

    Prepare now

Import tariffs are impractical in a global economy. The reasoning is the same as those given for making it unconstitutional for states to set up tariffs.

I can see how you would think it a good idea.
