The "cheating has already begun in the state of Texas for Wendy Davis, running for Texas Governor. And it's still early. Be aware everyone of any democratic organization in your state trying to "get out the vote."

I am personally in the camp of not voting for anyone in the party primaries who is currently an incumbent candidate for re-election at the state government level, or a incumbent candidate for re-election for the Congress or the Senate. Start over. Make it a demonstration that "We the people" still have enough of a voice to throw out politicians who get nothing done and only serve the "special interests." If a movement like this got started, it would scare the shit out of all of them.

Since nothing is being accomplished anyway, we can't do any worse with brand new people. Clean slate.

That is my opinion as well.

bushrat - In addition to your warning (by the way, thanks) I also think it's time to get very vocal to everyone we come in contact with to put down Hillary's chances of nomination.

They are bussing in more undocumented votes as we sit here in Wisconsin. Anyone has a right to vote as often as they like.

It is my opinion that was do just that. Take out all the current politicians and replace them with new ones BUT go back to the original idea for politicians. Politics was never meant to be a carrier job. It was to get in do what you think could help your state and get out. Just like no, one man, should ever rule this nation for more than 8 years. I am a firm believer that with the current president, he will try to pull something to get elected again or do something to further piss on anything we had left from the original intent of government here in the United States.

I believe politicians should run a 2-4 year length of service based on reelection by the people after the second year is up.
I believe that the president of the United States should only be able to hold office a 4 year term as well but I also believe it should be a lot harder for someone to be a president..
(This is where people with agree/disagree and that's fine as I am entitled to my opinion.)

Terms to become president of the United States
    - Must be 45 years of age or older
    - Must be a NATURAL BORN citizen (Both parents and the parents of their parents must be legal citizens of the United States.)
    - Must be married
    - Must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces (Combat Vet preferred but not absolute)

These are very simple tasks but all of which could be argued...
    - The age of 45 sounded reasonable to be as it is not to old and not to young. If I am not mistaken the original guidelines to become president states that one must be 45 anyway, I could be wrong.
    - Must be Natural Born because I do not feel anyone other than an American should run AMERICA
    - Must be married and straight. This is where some will argue until blue in the face.
    - Must be a veteran is the biggest thing for me but I could see there needing to be loop holes in here somewhere... The reason I would like to see the president of the United States as a Vet is they know what it is like to be a leader and they know what it is like to command thats another reason why I would like them to be a combat vet.. It goes so much deeper though as well. I would like it to be where the person had to have been a Platoon Sergant or higher in the NCO field or a minimal of a Captain. The captain however cannot be some hot shot straight outta ROTC Officer either, the Captain or higher rank would have had to be an NCO at some point or another to know what it is like to be the lowest of ranks all the way up to officer ranks which DEMAND a lot more respect.

With a president who is under these stipulations you will be assured of a couple things.

    1. He/She has already sworn to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC (Our current Hitler). Lived it, breathed it, for years. This way you also know that if they go the route our current terrorist leader is going then it will be much easier to punish that individual. The Uniform Code of Military Justice is a firm and from what I have witnessed very upheld piece of law that should be able to be used against the president. Some will say he is not military he is the president... The moment I am told I am supposed to solute him as my Commander in Chief than that right there labeled him by rank and he is the highest member of the military so yes I think it should easily be done to punish them... (OFF TOPIC)
    - So because through my thoughts of a presidential stipulations the individual will be sworn in yet again to do as before in upholding and defending the constitution ect ect.... Of which at any time, ANY member of congress with a number of backing members to support him/her can bring to trail even the president.

Doctors for malpractice, lawyers for bribery, cops for going crooked, so why cant we the people get the president before a Judge......

    2. The president will then know what it is like to have command and also know what it is like to make decisions based not just on what their emotions and thoughts are but ones made after careful consideration and how it can and will affect the men and women of the nation based upon whatever decision it may be. There are times when a leader must send some to their death and it is at that moment that the leader in question must be hard firm compassionate and caring all at the same time but swift before it causes the lose of many many more... As a leader you cannot hesitate but you must be intelligent enough to know not to make a hasty half thought snap judgement.

    3. Morals, Virtues, Ethos, Values, all of which come from who and what we are. The military instills the basics which every man of every race and faith can embrace.

    Loyalty
    Duty
    Respect
    Selfless Service
    Honor
    Integrity
    Personal Courage

Live by these and you will be alright, lead by these and people will attack hell with a snowball for you.

I have rambled on and on and I see this is my time to stop... I just wonder how many out there feel the same way or am I leaving to much out that prevents other good possible people from being president.. Who knows? All I know is that it will never happen but in my little world it works.

That is why we have a two term Obama and will be stuck with Hillary.
The Union is already taking dues money and sending it to Hillary.
We have lost and the socialist know it.
When Hillary or Obama appoints the next Supreme Court justice the 2nd amendment as we knew it is over. Along with a lot more.

Sorry. Not to give offense, but your response is exactly what is hoped for by those who want to ruin this country. Apathy, defeat and resignation to some inevitable outcome.

    NO!!!!!

WE HAVE NOT LOST UNLESS WE GIVE IN!! Stand for America and fight to your last breath to keep America. Honor the sacrifice of those who went before us to create this great nation. Get in the face of the politicians and take away the one thing they must have -- YOUR VOTE!

"Never give in, never give in, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense." --Winston Churchill as Britain stood alone in 1941 against the Nazi Germany.
