Every body always talks about how advanced China is and they soon will be able to land someone on the moon. Something we did over 40 years ago.
Yep, now we have to hire the Russians to get our astronauts to the space station.
China will leave us alone because we buy all the junk they manufacture. What would happen to their economy with out us? I'd bet that half of the population is working to export crap over here.
China knows it can't make a military move without our involvement on the opposite end. Break our economy, smash our credit rating and then make their move.
Since they own a good chunk they can just publically demand payment, force us to default, declare us unfit to receive future loans, then start their offensive. Few countries will be willing to gamble on us after watching us default on a major loan. No money to fund super-tech war machine.
The Saudis are ditching us, and for very good reason. This is going to be yet another hard hit against the petrodollar...
