    Thoughts on the election

I didn't think we could do it but the silent majority won!

If you really watched the election though, you know that this was an extremely tight election. Many states were won by less than 2%. That in itself shows we are a very divided country. Hopefully Trump can help heal the wounds but that will take time. Until then we need to stay vigilant.

For the time being, I wouldn't sit back and relax. Take a look at what happened in Berkley. This same thing could happen in other cities. The very vocal left is not happy. Some have talked about riots if Trump won. I wouldn't discount that. Trump has won but he has not made into the office yet. There are many things that could happen along the way. I hope it's a peaceful transition but I'm not expecting it. I truly hope I'm wrong.

The road ahead will be a tough one. We were on the road to socialism and that will be a lot of work to overcome and reverse. Don't expect the socialists to go down peacefully.

I've been wondering how likely it is that he'll actually take office. There's a long time between now and then.

This election was the second revolutionary result in recent days, Brexit being the first. Should this type of reaction to the decades of theft by the elite of the West continue, it could change the world. Big banks and big government would see a reduction in their power for the first time since the Great Depression.

Further thoughts: how will the media react to this victory by the deplorables? They've seen their audience abandon them and their attempts at thought control. They've seen massive loss of ad revenue. Will they double down and try even harder to make Trump a one hit wonder elected by the redneck flyover crowd?

This is very important. The media is almost the fourth branch of government in this country, with special freedoms enumerated to it in the Constitution.

My two favorite states were the most deplorable. First thought... Praise the Lord!

    Wyoming: Trump 70%
    West by God Virginia 69%

By the way they are two of the largest Coal producing states.

Coal production is mostly by these five states:
    Wyoming: 395.7 (40%)
    West Virginia: 112.2 (11%)
    Kentucky: 77.3 (8%)
    Pennsylvania: 60.9 (6%)
    Illinois: 58.0 (6%)

    Think Clinton's Coal/Energy comments weren't important?

    Second thought this morning
Thank God! ...our founders gave us the Electoral College!!!

Exactly. Trump is the lesser of two evils and he has a lot to follow through on. Every time he said repeal and replace Ocare I cringed. Do not replace it just repeal it.

all depends... we have either been presented with the opportunity for change, or the illusion of it...

Health insurance has fundamentally changed. We can't go back to what we had before. At least, I see no way. Something needs to be put into place in order to get rid of that awful pile of . Ryan said this morning this would be one of the first tasks they take.
