    Travel to Netherlands/Germany

I represent a company form the Netherlands In the western U.S. and have to travel to Europe a few times a year. Mostly throughout the Netherlands and Germany. I utilize public transport from Amsterdam to the other side of Holland then private transport from there. I'm reconsidering European travel with recent events in Brussels and today at Schipol airport. I've heard people say they will never travel to Europe again and have heard people say I don't let terrorists dictate where I go.

What do you think? What would you do?

    Thanks, Matt

I cannot afford to trip through Europe but, would if I could. There are certain places I wouldn't go though, like tourist heavy sites.

If I were to travel as a tourist, it would be to countries that like us, not the socialist shit holes of Europe.
Oh, yes, they act nice over there, only because of the money.
Israel, Australia and New Zealand would be on the list.
Any place where there was a predominance of muzslime bastards would be out.

    If I cannot drive there, . . . I do not go. Air travel is not one of my joys, . . . and April 1, 1968 I left the Navy, . . . still don't have a need for a boat.

The singular one exception to that could be Israel, . . . but you all would have to take up a BIG collection before I could afford that.

    May God bless,

I might have to hit Germany this summer - it's going to be in and back out - going into any of the major euro international airports could be problematic ....

Welcome to Europe! Europe is a safe place. You are much more likely to get killed by some gun-wielding maniac in USA than anywhere in Europe. But yes, we have this on-going threat by terrorists and occasionally something happens, but the likelihood of it happening to you while you are travelling is smaller than winning the jackpot in the lottery.

I will never stop travelling in Europe, that's what they want, to make us afraid. But obviously stay alert and check any on-going travel alerts.

Yes, things might change in the future, that's why I'm prepping too. However, I would not advise against visiting Germany or Netherlands at the moment. At least until now things have been just fine in both countries.

    All the best,

You keep deluding yourself of the lack of problems.
My nearest neighbor and friend was born and brought up in Germany and she still has relatives living there.
In her conversations with them, she was told the women in the family, three generations of them are afraid to go out of their homes.
They all want Merkel to hang for letting all that izslimic trash into the country.
You have syrians marching in your streets chanting "we will conquer you", no problems? Right.
