Exactly he leaves them a bait pile every day and they gobble it up. While they are feeding on the bait pile looking all dazed in the eyes he's going to pull the trigger on them in November!

OK you guys can come back after the election and whoop on me but I predict that Trump will win 2020 with plenty of wiggle room. It may even be a landslide victory.

    Seems simple to me---
Do you want socialism and the stuff that has been happening for the last few months?
Or do you want a better economy, more jobs-- you know like we have had the last 3 years?
    Your choice dude

No, it is the country's choice. And the best way to stop socialism is to elect a conservative Republican... one who knows when to shut the F up and knows how to stop deficit spending. And just because Trump fans love it when he speaks nonsense off the top of his head, you need to realize the independent voter doesn't.

Obviously a good chunk are at least ok with it or Trump would not be POTUS. Personally I do not care so much what he says, but what he does.

And isn't that the absolute shame of it? I am going to vote for Trump again as well. But, I was never the question, the independents will decide this and he has lost way to many of them.

The independents have had enough and will walk, not run, to Biden. He is safe and benign in their minds and someone who will go along to get along. Trump has made it too easy for his enemies.

I hope your right my friend, I hope your right. If Biden wins the game is over. You'll not see another man who calls himself a republican in office again, much less a conservative. I don't like the man and don't trust him, but I hate the other man more. Again, I am picking the lesser of two evils. And if he loses, I wont whoop on you, I'll cry with you in my beer, but I won't whoop on you.

Yes, we need someone to say all the right things. Make promises that make people feel good. That's all that really matters. No one can stop the deficit spending. But Obama did say all the right things. Promises were make to be broken, right? What happens afterwards just gives different people something to complain about while making a few happy. But at least we will have a slick talking smiling face for president during that time.

A "good chunk" of independents were OK with him during the 2016 campaign.
    But, are they now?
Since he has revealed his true self?

This past week illustrates why Trump is a winner. He tweets about postponing the election. That is all anyone cared about. Media tried to spin the 8% quarterly drop in GDP to a 33% drop for the year and he beat them to it with a nonsensical none issue tweet on elections WHILE bringing attention to the fraud of mail in voting. Come on guys and gals that was magical political artwork! The man has it.

“Independents.” @Robie has made it a point to chronicle the accomplishments of Trump in less than a full term and with the Dems and their media working doggedly against him. He’s done what we were told couldn’t be done. These Independents worry more about his tweets than his accomplishments?

If this be the case, Independent means Ignorant.
