More and more of our countrymen are turning away from Christianity thanks to the diligent work of the subversive communists within every institution of this nation. Without Jesus, they will continue to believe Satanic lies and will follow their corrupt hearts. We have witnessed a quickening of the pace of wickedness being accepted as normal and we'll start to rival the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah.
While the world is becoming more wicked, we see that the Middle-Eastern stage is being set up for the day when Israel will be attacked by the nations listed in the Bible. Things are coming together as prophesied. There's going to come a time when the Great Restrainer is lifted from the Earth as prophesied in Thessalonians. When this happens the world will see the darkest days ever.
    You know these things.

So no one sees it as a hopeful sign that now these states are revolting against this unjust law? I think it's incredibly positive. This fight's not over.

Roe versus wade was a PRIVACY RIGHTS ISSUE...

the Court ruled that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution provides a fundamental "right to privacy" that protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose whether or not to have an abortion. However, it ruled that this right is not absolute, and must be balanced against the government's interests in protecting women's health and protecting prenatal life.[2][3] The Court resolved this balancing test by tying state regulation of abortion to the three trimesters of pregnancy: the Court ruled that during the first trimester, governments could not prohibit abortions at all; during the second trimester, governments could require reasonable health regulations; during the third trimester, abortions could be prohibited entirely so long as the laws contained exceptions for cases when they were necessary to save the life or health of the mother.[4] Because the Court classified the right to choose to have an abortion as "fundamental", the decision required courts to evaluate challenged abortion laws under the "strict scrutiny" standard, the highest level of judicial review in the United States.[5]

Roe V. Wade is NOT a Law but the evil institutions of government learning do their damn-dest to fill the mind of our young'uns with the nonsense that it is a law.

We all know that Schoolhouse Rock is the ultimate in Constitutional Expertise and from that we learned that Congress makes a Bill and the Bill can only be signed by the President in order to make it law.

So lets go back to 1973 and make a lawful determination that the Supreme Court does NOT make law. But sadly, we have 45 years of indoctrination that says otherwise...

Its the SCOTUS that matters in this law. Ruth even said it was poorly written back in the day.. It was/is..
Yes women have a right to privacy. But, women dont even have equal rights yet as that amendment hasnt been ratified yet..
Someone will take this to the SCOTUS, hopefully after Ruth leaves..
But the Planned Parenthood is only a smidgen of the people that harvest dead babies parts. They also receive moneys from the government and then pay it back to the politicians via campaign contributions. Money laundering..

No, I am not hopeful. The puppet masters will insure their agenda continues to move forward, in spite of what we see as a last glimmer of hope.

Annie, I think we re seeing an awakening. Not just of a few states, but of people. Yes the media is a blaze with young idealist in college and the left and their supporters. But those are the outspoken minority. I think you can gauge public sentiment in how the States behave.

Yes there is always the fight in the Courts that will balance out and maintain the Status Quo.

The Shift in balance is not a dramatic one, its a nudge that starts the slow tide of change...Like the Pitch experiment

You can tell change is coming when Politicians leap hard early in one direction. Right now they are leaping early in States to appease a pissed of silent Majority who they know is really tired of the left and social justice. But your not going to get millions of people protesting in the streets for anti abortion laws (sure some will), but most people vote their conscience and they don't have time to scream to a media that is in bed with the left, so you see them sending a letter or an email...and when "Joe State Representative", gets an email from Mrs. Sally Citizen who says she'd fed up with this (unlike the jenny Join in's that send a million emails all the damn time) That representative knows that Sally represents about 85% of the population, where as Jenny Join in represents about 15%.

So do I think the Supreme Court will weigh in? I hope so, even if you think there are cases where Abortion should be legal, at a certain point it needs to be defined as a protected life and only when the life of the Mother (Vice just her mental health) is at risk should anything be done. Take it out of the political spectrum and put it into the medical realm and scientific realm to at least stop the idea that its not ever a life until it comes out of the body.

Abortion is simply a birth control option to too many kids these days and its taken too lightly. I honestly expect a huge rise in Breast Cancer to be seen over the next 20-30 years, especially among Black women, due to abortions.

But there are a lot of people who have had one previously and people standing around calling them murderers isn't really going to get them to take any actions, its just going to hurt them further than they've hurt themselves.

WHat we need is to tackle the problem in a non emotional way and that is scientifically/medically. Pick a point and say although we think abortion is an unnecessary health risk, if your gonna do it, you need to do it before this point, otherwise your taking a life and risking your own. DOn't say a woman can't seek it...just say a medical doctor performing an abortion after this point can be charged with murder unless clear signs of risk to life of the Mother are evident, and it may only be done in a controlled medical area until the fetus is seperated from the woman and is given a medical release.

Any Hotel toilet options should get people thrown in prison for allowing a woman to pass an aborted fetus into a toilet (just the complete risk to her body from infection)

Anyways.... Sorry its a long post. TO answer your question. Yes I am optimistic, but not about Government, State or Federal, but rather that people are leaning conservative again. and I think we can thank our Millennial who are not in college for that. I have 3 out of 4 Millenial kids who are conservative. THe 4th is , but he married a Liberal so he's wearing a hat to match his affliction (a Vagina). The other 3 see how silly she sounds and I'm sure they will pick good conservative women to marry.

Except the one who owns this cat I'm keeping for him....I'm not totally sure he's not Gay.....but if he is...he's Gay in a conservative way.

    my 2 cents for @Annie

I don't see this ending well. Eventually the "silent majority" will have to make themselves heard or submit to the left's socialist agenda. As the city states become more powerful they will have the votes to overrule any attempt to right the ship. Fortunately, while the city states are banning guns, the silent majority has lot's of them. One day, sooner then most people think, hard decisions will have to be made.
