I keep my XD 45 Tactical by the bed and the XD 9 Service downstairs in the garage.

The most versatile handgun would be my SIG 226R in 9mm along with the SIG .22LR adapter. Second choice would be my S&W Model 28 6".

Day to day I like my Ruger LC9S. It is an easy light CC that gets the job done. I own a few hand guns it just fits the job. But I have said many times over the years if I had to grab one and run. It would likely be my 357. It can kill a deer at 75 yards. A 357 with the right round will not kill it, it can't be killed. It will never fail and it can take all 38 special and 357 ammo. If I can't kill in 6 rounds I am likely already dead.

Of the four, it would have to be the Glock 19. That was the very reason I bought that gun. Dependable, easy to maintain, goes bang EVERY time.

Comfortable grip and trigger. Two different magazine sizes that change the length of the grip. 10 rounds for carry or 17 rounds for HD. Big pop-up chamber loaded flag on top that can be easily felt in the dark, deep beaver tail to protect the shooters hands. Really well designed. Plus Ruger customer service is second to none.

I have a SR and a SRc series handgun. Can't go wrong with either. I have not held an American series handgun as of yet though.

A Kimber UC2 in .45 ACP and a Crimson Trace.

I've been shooting 1911s sine the 1970s, and they just feel familiar and comfortable.

The SR and SRC series from Ruger are hard to beat both in function and value. Also own the SR9C no finer shooting weapon in it's class.
