    Ben-Hur remake about "Forgiveness"

I know a pile of crap when I smell it. Please do not step in the stink.

I did find the following comment from the comment section to be funny, but likely correct.....

I predict that the character of Ben Hur will be shown to be racist, bigoted, and incompetent with the positive outcome at the end only possible by a magic black man who is wise, incredibly gifted, altruistic, and is a father to his children

I have no desire to see a remake of that picture. Nothing can top the original, IMHO.

Since the world has done gone as crazy as it has, I figured the remake of Ben-Hur would be called Ben-HER...about some transgendered dipwad named Ben who just wanted to live in a world where he could use the little girl's bathroom...

Actually I kinda had a similar idea, . . . figured the "star" would have "been her", . . . but now is "being he", . . . going around and romancing the "been he's" that are now "being her".

That's my opinion of Hollytrash these days.

    May God bless,

"Ben Hur; A Tale of The Christ"

I would prefer to wait and see at least some reviews. From what I have read the last version, 1959, had some differences form the book. While the book was about forgiveness, the 1959 movie was more about vengeance, this new version is supposed to be more like the book. I hope that Christ will remain as a part of the movie. Any chance to introduce Christianity and forgiveness into today's society can be an important revelation for our "Hope and Change" generation.

By the way, if you don't already know, the book was written by the Union Civil War General Lew Wallace, veteran of some of the early western battles and Monocacy, a battle in the eastern theater. The original version was a silent film from the 1920's and is supposedly a better chariot race, though I've never seen the whole movie.

Rome and her vast legions were all about charity and forgiveness.

Are we trying to erase world history now too?
