CA Senate votes to exempt self from CA gun laws

Well that is mighty nice of them. Maybe I am naïve, but having different sets of rules when it comes to being able to defend yourself sounds fascist to me?

The California state Senate voted 28-8 Wednesday to exempt itself from the pointless gun-control laws that apply to the rest of the populace. Legislators apparently think they alone are worthy to pack heat on the streets for personal protection, and the masses ought to wait until the police arrive.

Do as I say not as I do?
Exempting themselves from a law they enact, while expecting the masses to abide by it is, placing themselves above the law, who does that?

They are acting exactly like the parliamentary governments of Europe.
Two different sets of rules, one for the elite and one for those in servitude to them.
Hell, they are only emulating the US Congress.
And folks we are at the brown end of that stick.

It will be very interesting to see how many are denied gun purchases.

We left California over 20 years ago. You could see the writing on the wall from 1969 on. The politicians always had the attitude that "You Are To Stupid To Know What Is Good For You".
