    Hello from TN

    Hello everyone,

Glad to be here, I have frequented this forum often recently and decided to join this fine group! My wife and I decided to begin the basics of stocking up a year or so ago. Meaning storing food/water is mostly what we have concentrated on. I have spread out to stocking up on batteries, candles, some first aid, etc. I have a couple of hand guns and the ubiquitous 12 gauge pump too. I'm a big believer in simplicity so I thus far stick to revolvers in one caliber, less to keep up with ammo wise. Looking forward to learning a lot from those here!

Hearty welcome from the other T State. My grandpa and his folks escaped from up there. Might move there if Texas ever becomes uninhabitable or something.

    Welcome.

I'm not familiar with that make of shotgun, hell I can't even pronounce it. Is it one of them high dollar Turkish shotguns or some such thing.? Anyway, I'd like to hear a review on it. Enjoy the forum, they be some good folk here.

Haha, it's an inexpensive Maverick 88 12 gauge. If the brand name was actually "Ubiquitous" I wouldn't want it and sure couldn't afford it!

I was just fixing to try to look up that ubiquitous brand in some of my old gun books. Thanks.

Ok, I lied, no surf, but enough sand
to make all the dang sand bags I’ll ever need!
