Welcome from Alabama. Why are you starting over and what is your aim?

Hi ..…. ok, I had to get that in before you were kidnapped and disappeared here. (It happens on occasion it seems)

First cover the basics like food for 3 months, then 6, then 9, then 12. Identify and insure you have a water source or an ample stock of water. Finally shelter needs are critical, but ….. to be more detailed, you are gonna need to be more specific as to where you are in being prepared and define your preparedness objectives and what drives them.

Now, to get down to real business since you appear to be a coastal Texas …… did ya vote for that dumbass Beto?

    Welcome from Houston.

Well, living in coastal Texas I would suggest you start preparing for the most likely, Hurricanes and flooding. As mentioned, start with the basics and work concentrically outwards. Food, water, 1st aid, a means of treating the water, candles, flashlights, generator, etc.

And, please tell me you didn't vote for that dumbass Beto!

Welcome, and my first suggestion is, get a shotgun and load it with slugs; that way, if some doper comes in on ya, you can blow the Hell out of him.

Hearty welcome from an old Corpus native currently hanging the hat in DFW. All prepping needs to start with a cool gun or two. Whatcha got?
