Yep. Her story, your story, is the same as the Navajo Talkers in WWII. Yes, our country f#$ked you all over. I will not take the blame for it (because I was 8 years old when Vietnam ended), but I do take responsibility for making it right.

    Thanks.

I love our country, and most of its people.
But, the government I do not trust, and do not want to be associated with, no matter who is in office.

I might be able to help you with this.

As a young man, I got first taste of a "corporate structure" from a guy who had a thriving business in spite of himself. If it wasn't for his wife and I constantly "breaking his fall" he'd be on a street corner selling pencils. But it taught me a valuable lesson.

If a company is successful, then think of it as a pyramid. At the top are a limited number of dickheads with some brains, start-up cash and dumb luck. They "buy" talent because 1). someone has to do the heavy lifting, and 2). they clearly do not want to work for a living.

As an 'urban mercenary' I feasted off their laziness, their lack of foresight and demanding far too much money since they were clueless on what stuff costs. I now live in suburbia and do virtually nothing but lift weights and sharpen knives. I refer to my home as "the house that idiots built."

BTW, that company no longer exists because that's what happens to idiots...
