Xi Jinping has as much as stated this is as the goal. I see chess pieces being moved around the board by both China and Russia.

I do agree Xi will have to move fast before the muslims or the socialist take us down from within. One thing is certain, it appears there is a race to see who can take America down.
    I agree.
Russia and China do not trust each other but as @TG said, they have more in common.
China sees American policy as a hindrance. Not only is China working to be the top dog in Asia but it is also buying its way over Africa.
Thanks to technology given to it by the Clintons as well as the technology it outright stole, China has built a real ability to destroy our battlegroups as well as nuke our mainland.
To suggest China will not aggress against the U.S. because the U.S. is economically important to China is to forget that China is not nearly as short-sighted as is the U.S.

I don't think there are enough enemies that have the assets and are capable of invading the U.S., let alone win. Can China and/or Russia beat us on their home turf? Probably, but not on ours. Plus, we have plenty of allies that won't have a choice but to join our forces because they know that China being THE world power is bad for business.

The key phrase here is “China being the world power is bad forbusiness”. I think you are missing the point entirely. The people that make the rules don’t care one iota about what is either good or bad for “the people”. They only care about what is good for themselves. Today in Germany, they are building the natural gas pipeline to Russia that will put their entire economy at Russia’s mercy. Not because it benefits the German people. But because it enriches an elite few.

We see the same here at home. Politicians don’t do what helps the people. They rule by what gives the top few more power and wealth. The same is everywhere. China simply has to offer a few of the top politicians and super-rich a juicy deal and we will all be sold down the river without a backwards glance.

Isolation by have an ocean on both sides will no longer serve as much protection for the USA. Liberal Socialism has corrupted our northern neighbors and just plain old corruption has seized Mexico. Plently of European countries no longer side with us. I can see situations where we would face hostile navy’s on both oceans and hostile nations on both north and southern borders. Seems like a no-win situation to me.

Missing it entirely? I must have been talking about Venezuela... Damn autocorrect!

Seriously though, politicians have always been corrupt, the rich have always done what was needed to get rich and alliances have been broken time and time again only to reunite when there was a common enemy (think Germany). You can say all you want about countries hating us but that is nothing new either. China and Russia are the ones who are annexing countries, pushing borders and contesting land and waters with the threat of force. It is obvious to everyone that they would not stop with the U.S. if they were able to succeed.

Also, It would take a long time and a whole lot of logistical and naval power to move a force with the capability to invade the U.S. Russia and China don't have it. Not to mention that they would have to do this without being detected. Do you think we watch everything they do? It requires a lot more than what they have now or will have in the near future to support a Naval Force that can do what we do. It is not just about the ships or man power, they need to be fully supported. Fuel, food, bullets and parts run out fast. They can't carry enough so they need supply ships and prepositioned logistical support with airfields for resupply.

Do you really believe that Canada and Mexico would let either of them through without a fight? They may be corrupt and socialist but they are not stupid. Also, think about the land force that would be needed to come from the North? Pretty cold up there, lots of mountains and trees with unimproved roads or lack there of. What airfields are they going to use for their planes and tanks?

They can't do it by force unless they go nuclear but that is just a stupid scenerio because no one wins. The only way I see it possible is with a Trojan horse but even then I think it is still far fetched.

You are assuming a scenario in which our mainland is attacked. I don't see that being needed.

Exactly! Our enemies don’t need to invade our mainland. Engage our navy and give us a severe bloody nose. Sink a few carrier battle groups. Maybe attack and overrun our forces in Europe and South Korea. Unleash hordes of immigrants across both our northern and southern borders to cause complete chaos and keep our military and law enforcement overwhelmed. Cyber attacks where necessary. Have a few sympathetic “leftists” in Washington (together with their leftist MSM) start screaming for a change of leadership, and presto-chango! Our enemies have subdued America without ever stepping foot on our soil.

You are right, there is no need to attack mainland America, because if you kill the head, the rest will follow. Our naval and air assets could be destroyed quickly, by a surprise attack.
When and if China and Russia make enough technological leaps in hardware; they may get froggy and leap.

Well said, and General Mills concurs.

Letting them in any other way I think is far fetched. I agree that hey are expanding because they want to be the world leader but war will not make anyone prosperous and they know that. The losses will be too great. I think a lot of it is posturing. They will use politics and deceit but It will likely just be another Cold War with some scuffles in the South China Sea until they learn that we are going through it whether they like it or not. A battle at sea near China gives them an edge because they can resupply, reinforce and use other assets but anywhere else we still got the edge.

Our military may be depleted some but we will build it back up. We have the draft too. Our aircraft and ships are getting money put back into them as well.

You have little faith in Americans and in our military. Please go back to your hole and quit trying to spread fear.
