The death penalty should not be about revenge and it should never be referred to as a deterrent. It is simply eradication.

I think that if it is reinstated nation wide it will be with the purpose of disposing of those whom vocally or physically resist the decrees of government, not to eradicate criminals that perpetrated truly evil deeds upon fellow citizens. The true enemies of secularism/communism.

All we have to do is adjudicate the condemned as unwanted pregnancy and escort them to planed parenthood suck their brain stem and sell their body parts for profit. We can use the profit to arrest and convict more criminals.
It will be a self sufficient enterprise so we can employ more people and get the tax dollars too.

I would support re-instating the death penalty and bringing back hanging as the method. I also see value in other corporal punishments that serve purposes of humiliating the offender.

I use to be a huge support. Until I was 11 and walking around the cemetery in Toombstone AZ after seeing the re enactment of the OK Corral....cool when your eleven. Anyway at the cemetery I asked dad what does that mean " Hung By Mistake" on the cross. Oops. I was never a big fan after that.

Now the left has really ruined it with lawyers. Tax payers spend tens of millions on a single execution today. ,
