    Pre-made BOB's

I know you will want to customize and what not.... I also know it would be cheaper to just gather the supplies yourself and pack them, however I was wondering if anyone knew of a good pre-made starter pack that can be bought and just add a few items to that would serve as a good 3 day BOB.

oops I'm sorry, I didn't check but it's a good basic kit with extra room for more items.

I would never recommend such. To start with, everyone has different skill levels. Another thing is you don't know the quality of what is in the ready made kits.

I assume you can check each item by their brand name and do per-item research before committing.

It takes a long time to properly research a bag that has the space and comfort requirements that you want. Add to that researching every item that you want to put in the bag for your unique situation and you can see how it can very quickly become a long term project just to get a basic bag going. The reason for my question was to see if there was something with a good base than can be built upon based on the collective knowledge on this forum. For preppers just starting out that may not have the advantage of having 3 years or more to play with different set ups.

Thanks TG, that is what I was looking for. Now if only I can find one in stock somewhere!

Id never buy a premade b.o.b. unfamiliar stuff not tailored to your needs, you know your skills and limits. That premade pile of crap is made with the most basic survival needs. You can make your own good one for around $50-$100. I've got 4 myself. 1 in the woods, 1 in the car, 2 in the house.
